Terms of Use
Last updated: not yet published
This website is published by Parivartan Trust, a public charitable trust registered in Bihar. By using it, you agree to the following.
1. What this site is for
The site exists so that you can learn about the trust’s work, donate to it, volunteer, or get in touch. Use it for those purposes. Do not use it to attempt to gain access to systems or information that are not offered to you, to submit anything false or misleading, or to interfere with its operation for others.
2. The information here
We describe the trust’s work as accurately as we can. Figures for people helped, funds raised, and programmes running are updated periodically and are not live totals. Programme details, causes, and the cases we feature change over time, and we may add, alter, or remove any of it without notice.
Nothing on this site is medical advice. If you need care, see a doctor.
3. Content belongs to the trust
The text, photographs, reports, and design of this site belong to Parivartan Trust. You may link to any page. You may quote short passages with attribution. You may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute the site’s content for any other purpose without our written permission.
Where the site acknowledges a supporter or a partner institution, that acknowledgement gives them no ownership of anything published here.
4. Photographs of the people we help
This is not ordinary copyright, and we ask you to read it.
Some pages on this site carry photographs and stories of patients, families, and children the trust supports. Every one of them is published with the written consent of that person or their guardian, given to us for one purpose: so that people who might help them can see who they are helping.
That consent does not extend to you. Whatever the rest of this page says about quoting or linking, the following are not permitted:
- copying, republishing, or redistributing any photograph of a beneficiary, anywhere, in any medium;
- using such a photograph in your own fundraising, campaigning, advertising, or reporting, however sympathetic;
- including any of it in a dataset used to train or evaluate machine-learning or artificial-intelligence systems;
- altering, cropping, or captioning a photograph so as to change what it says about the person in it.
Several of the people pictured are children. If you see one of these photographs used anywhere outside this site, please tell us at not yet published — a report from you may be the only way we find out.
5. Donations
Donating is governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
6. Links out
Where we link to another organisation’s website, we do not control it and are not responsible for what it says or does.
7. Complaints and governing law
Complaints go to the Grievance Officer — see Grievance Redressal.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The trust is registered at Danapur, Patna, Bihar, and matters concerning it fall to the courts there.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top is the date of the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
