About 80G

Donations to Parivartan Trust qualify for deduction under Section 80G of the Income-tax Act at 50% of the amount donated, subject to the qualifying limit that applies to you.

The receipt this website issues is proof of your payment. It is not the 80G certificate and it cannot be used to claim a deduction on its own. Where you have asked us to report your donation and given us your PAN or other identity document, we include it in the trust’s annual statement of donations, and the Income Tax Department then issues you the certificate (Form 10BE) that supports your claim. That happens once a year, after our filing.

If you gave us no identity document, your donation is not reported and no certificate follows. Your donation still reached us and still did its work.

Foreign contributions

The trust does not hold registration under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010, and cannot accept foreign contributions. If you are a foreign national, please do not donate through this website, whichever card or bank you would use — the restriction follows your nationality, not the instrument.
