About the Trust
Parivartan Trust is a public charitable trust registered in Bihar in 2019. It works in medical aid, community outreach and education.
Who we are
The Trust was constituted by a deed registered in Patna in 2019, and is governed by a board of three founder trustees who hold office for life. Its work is carried out in and around Patna, in hospitals and in villages, by trustees and volunteers rather than by a large paid staff.
Vision
That no one in Bihar goes without necessary medical treatment because they cannot pay for it.
Mission
To meet the cost of treatment for patients who cannot meet it themselves, to take basic health care to villages that have none nearby, and to support education and training that gives people work.
What we are working towards
The trust deed names the purposes money may be raised and spent for: hospitals and medical institutions, training, social welfare, employment generation, and works of general public utility. Every donation this site accepts is directed to one of those purposes and is reported against it.
Trustees
The board is the trust’s governing body. Trustees are named here; we do not publish photographs of them or personal telephone numbers.
